CASA consults!!!

In a world first CASA has invited interested parties Australia wide to participate in an on-line conference which, amoungst other things, will discuss proposed changes to Regs etc....

I presume then they can claim to have consulted widely and any resolutions arising from the conference will have the backing of the wider aviation community.....bring on the new Regs....

Then again I may be a little cynical.....

I won't be hitting the website during the conference in case my hit is considered a vote of approval....

While I have had the, very rare, good experience with CASA types (one very recently on LOP...seems CASA Airworthiness are convinced it's the way forward), they don't as a general rule listen to anyone.

CASA have the industry they deserve and vested interests will ensure nothing changes for the better anytime soon.

A few more Seaviews might change things...and they WILL occurr..CASA gaurantees it!!
