Gidday Gidday

How do you go about contacting Pionair about employment opportunities with them?
Who do you talk to?
What sort of experience do you need?
Is it a good idea to approach them?

You see their aircraft around from time to time, DC-3's and the Convair.
Is there some movement in this company ?

I have just over 550 hrs. 'C' Cat. MEIR with 50 hrs multi.
20 hrs in a cub.
Is this enough ?

Any ideas would be great.

Try using the search function on your browser and enter something like "pionair adventures" or similar and you may get a hit like this:

http://www.pionair.com/

As to your experience, you can only but give it a go.

Cheers

I flew in to Wigram last Thursday on a x/c and had a good look around the Pioneer operation. They have 3 DC-3's and currently lease a CV-580 but their own is arriving in a couple of weeks. Currently 7 full-time pilots and a few part-timers. At least go and introduce yourself. I've got my CPL flight-test in March but it's never too early to make yourself known.

Pionair does not own or crew the convair. It is owned and crewed by Air Chathams. I understand they will soon have there own 580
