Anyone know of any positions for a type rated pilot on the 125 in Australia?

As far as I know there is only one 125 (VH-LMP) still on the register. I think it is operated by National Jet out of Adelaide. I often hear it going up to Moomba, particularly on the weekend. I think they use it on the weekends instead of the Smurfjet.

And the Astra is now a Gulfstream 100

Can't imagine any vacancies on the Hawkers in the short / medium or even longer term.

Yeah, right!

Ah, the Astra - now THAT is a beautiful aeroplane. Besides Westwinds, that is! OK, the HS-125 has PWC PW305 engines, & the Hawker 800XP's have GARRETT TFE731-5BR-1H's. So how does this make them the same? Apart from the fact that they are both made by Hawker, I would have said that the similarity ended there. Or are you are saying they are the same, but different?

Is this arriving "125" real or a scale model?

The proceeds from your serious "cheap pilot gear for sale" posts won't help much with the purchase of a real 125!
