The add for Tropic Air makes the statement 'Pay commiserate with experience'....never a truer word writ in PNG these days.:D

I hear that the geniuses at PX have delivered a 10% paycut to the expats on a take it or leave it basis...given a bunch have just got 767 endorsements and VB/others are recruiting big time what does everyone think will be the result of that!!!

Chuck... I suspect that Pixie's 767 crews will be bonded for a while, so they probably don't have much choice right now.

Believe me Oz that won't even slow them down a little bit.

Hey Chuck,
Is the pay cut right across the board, ie for F28 and Dash 8 crews as well ?

Chimbu chuckles
2nd Feb 2003, 13:19
Apparently. Of course the falling Kina has been giving the expat crews A$ paycuts continually since 95. The partial stabilisation means that Nationals view the situation as continued and massive Kina payrises of course:rolleyes:

Sad to see ol' Pixie slip further down the slippery slope!

Chuck.
