Depending on the outcome of an RAF application I am about to further my research into flying schools for either a modular or integrated course. There is a lot of choice and I have read people views using the search option.

Presently I am very keen on Jerez, but was wondering if it is disadvantageous to do all your flying in the sunny climate of Spain, if I am ultimately going to be working in the UK (instructing or otherwise). I know employers wont touch you at the moment with a frozen ATPL, but should this be a consideration when choosing a school. I did my PPL in Florida, and have found that flying over there is very different with regards to radiotelephony as well as having to deal with crosswind landings etc.

Any views on this would be appreciated.

Cheers
