I've been fortunate enough to get a position in YPDN. Moving up there in a few weeks. Can anyone advise me on where I can stretch my legs for a week or two whilst looking for a permanent residence? Thanks in advance and look forward to meeting you all up there at some stage.

Try the Globe trotters, hostel, its reasonably priced, has a pool, a down stairs bar that serves cheap grog (specials every night and jugs are from$5.00 to $7.00 ), is usually full of backpackers, has really good meals that are so cheap you wouldnt believe it (from memory was about $2.50 with a free beer chucked in) and is very central. I wanna live there. :D
