Now here's a good Rumour.

Ryanair are to commence services Dublin - Blackpool and Belfast - Blackpool this summer.

That will put the Ryanair cat amongst the Liverpool EZY pidgeons on the Belfast run :D

Hmmm....... I shouldn't thing this will scare the pants of the blokes in EZ land sumhow - it's a fair old trek from LPL to Blackpool....... Now, if FRA were to expand outa LPL that would be different!

Fair comment. But remember that 60% of pax using Liverpool are travelling to LPL from outside the Merseyside region. (airport's own figures).

Which suggests that those driving from the North, the NorthEast and from over the Pennines or even Greater Manchester, can access Blackpool in the same time it takes them to drive to LPL. And as we all know, people will go anywhere if the price is right. :D

With an under used BLK Terminal they could call their own, who knows where that might lead. That 100m r/w extension could open up all of Europe
