“Hardy” aka Hartmund Titz, the original and one and only “Townsville Refueller” today
worked his last shift as the Townsville Refueller.

Hardy has supplied fuel to my various aircraft for the last 17 years. Always with a smile and in a timely fashion.

Ironically he was, until very recently, totally unaware of his fame and credibility on this forum.

Hardy is relocating to Brisbane. He is without a firm position to move to, but has the guts to take on the Big Smoke.

Hope to see you with your hose stuck up a Big Fokker soon Hardie.
;)
Yeah! I knew refueler had two l's in it.

Hardy,

Thanks for you prompt service over all these years. This forum will sure miss the intricate knowledge of the 'Townsville Refueller".

Good luck from the QPS guys from BN, CS and MA.

One thing I never saw but saw some near misses was a head oncollision in front of the aircraft on shutdown between the two rival fuellers at TL.

The service was always spot on and served with a :p
