Gents/Ladies,

I am wondering if any of you good people have knowledge of any tidy reasonably cheap accomodation in the Oxfard area for the ATPL exams, as I start with round 1 in March, and I am at a little of a lose end to where to stay at the moment.

Answers on a postcard please

regards

Steve Ferry

I am an old GOAT (Graduate of the Oxfrod Air Training School) and live in the area so when you decide where you want to stay, I might be able to give you some idea of the pros and cons.

I assume you will drive in to the airport - will you be working like a maniac or will you be chilling in the city in the evenings?

Can't the school provide cheap rooms?

Country - about 15 mins

I also live in Bletchingdon (about 5 minutes drive from the airport). I work in Kidlington so can provide transport if anyone needs it.

I can't offer B&B accomodation with own TV and en-suite etc, but I can offer the spare room as I would to a friend - with breakfast and evening meals, a roaring fire, cosy living room, internet access (four days without ppruning???), and a set of BGS notes!

To anyone coming to Oxford for exams or brush-ups, send me a PM for more info.
