Well came back to the UK and converted my licences to gain employment.

And that was it for years.

I finaly fought my way into a turbo prop outfit and have just got command. The jet job will come soon if it is the last thing I do;)

I found that my American certs got a mixed reaction and some odd prejudice. An examiner took great pleasure in failing me because I was a qulified US commercial pilot.

If I had my time all over I would still go to the US in the way I did and fly it all over again. They were some of the most enjoyable days of my flying and I met lifelong friends from all nations.
It also made me a much better pilot.
