I'm currently connecting to the net via a dial-up connection on my iBook using apple's AirPort wireless connection (Wi-Fi). I'm thinking of getting ADSL (Pipex most likely). Would someone be kind enough to advise me of what kind of modem I'd need. The usual USB modem most ISP's offer would be of no use as I'd then be restricted to using my laptop in one location in my house. The AirPort base station has an ethernet socket, so I'm assuming I'd need to use that?
