Liability Insurance

Can anyone recommend or point me in the right direction for public liability insurance for flying in Canada and the US. My friend has bought an R22 and we are both sharing the flying from Ontario to Florida. To be able to act as PIC I need insurance cover. No British company will cover me there, and my friend who has insured through Marsh will not insure me because i am a British citizen, not a Canadian, even though I have a Transport Canada CPL.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.
