The Scenario: An all-out battle between the Forces of the two named nations.

The Arena: A purpose-built facility just west of the international date line in the North Pacific. Roughly the size of Atlantis (not quite sure of the exact size, but CONTINENTALLY BIG!). Mostly desert, but includes high mountains, marshy coast land, etc, etc; ie, all the features that either nation may be familiar with.

The Rules: There are no rules. Each side is authorised to use whatever weapons it has, mass destruction or not, and any tactics which come to mind.

The Objective: Win at all costs.

The Prize: The winner gets to play the USWEST at the same game, either in their own country, or in whichever bit of the Arena best resembles it.

Who's going to win:

a) the first game
b) the second?

Comments, gentlemen and others?

PS: The Umpire will be Robert Mugabe.

PPS: Yes, this is slightly tongue in cheek, but you are allowed to consider who might pose the greatest threat to world peace, the options being:

a) either of the contestants
b) both of the contestants
c) the Umpire
d) Us

And just for the record, I am not a peacemonger, an apologist, a trendy lefty, or anything of the sort. War, or at least Just Military Action, seems to be a necessary evil of the human condition. I simply happen to believe that it is better if we all know why we are doing it.
