Accident At Sun City

Does anybody have more info on the light aircraft (2 seater) that crashed at Sun City (Pilansberg) earlier today?

Thankfully nobody injured from what I hear.

"One of two occupants of a light aircraft was slightly hurt in a crash-landing at Letsitele near Tzaneen in Limpopo on Tuesday, police said.

The pilot was not hurt.

Police spokesperson Captain Moatshe Ngoepe said the sole passenger only suffered scratches to the left hand.

Earlier reports that the aircraft had crashed into a dam were incorrect, Ngoepe said. It crash-landed on a piece of open land close to the dam.

The cause of the accident was being investigated by Civil Aviation Authority officials. - Sapa"

Thanks, no knowledge about the one at Tzaneen. I have just heard that a Stearman was involved at Sun City, unfortunately one soul was injured.

The News24 website has a very short piece on the accident. The police are quoted as saying "no injuries", hope this is the case as a friend is up there flying for the combat school crowd.
