He was a citizen of the largest country in the south east asia with population of 220 millions, which is facing political and economic turmoil, where many of its leaders are corrupt. as we may have known, his country is blessed with a great number of highly educated people who have the potentials for excellent jobs that can promise them high salary, good benefit, career assurance or workplace stability so that they can have a better future for their family.
Yet the political and economic turmoil has left him worried about his future, he's a professional pilot working for for his national airline company, he and hundreds of his colleagues as well, have been victimized by this seemingly never-ending uncertainty.
As a professional pilot, he has the potential of achieving a good career and future. he is been working at the national airline company for 17 years, however he's career seems to take him nowhere, many of he's colleagues have experience difficulties in their career, such as unfair treatment and absence of assurance, not to mention the possibility of layoffs, and they do not know how long this situation is going to end, they have been struggling, but many of them have grown frustrated because of this.
He is an idealist who has tried to fight for his right as an airline employee and as citizen according to the policies and regulations of his company and country, however he have failed just because of the mentality of his leaders who are vague, manipulated and corrupt. their reason to cover up the failure is always because of economic recession or the latest issue of terrorism, in fact, they (the leaders) should be able to follow what their neighboring countries, such as Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand have done, their national airline companies never impede their pilot career. therefore, he can say that their leaders do not have the capability to run their national airline company. however due to the condition of that country with strong corruption, collusion and nepotism problems those leaders are still in position, they have acted shamelessly for more than 10 years without any progress, not to mention any profit for them and the company.
Almost 80% of his colleagues work in the situation like this because they do not have any other choice, they have been treated ruthlessly in their own country, however to look for a job abroed is not as simple as people think, many big national airline company such as Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Gulf Air, Eva Air, China Airlines, Singapore Airlines including Korean Airline which employ most British pilots, see his colleagues with impeded career as unprofessional pilot who do not have the capability to fly the planes without verifying why their career is impeded. their opportunity is shut not only because of that but also just because they are from a country with bad reputation. those airlines definitely will hire more the pilots from their own contries to give the opportunity for their career. many of his colleagues try hard to be professional and get a job with one of those international airlines, however many of his colleagues have failed and have no choice but to stay in their own country hopelessly. although many of pilots from his country have the opportunity to work in the international airline companies, they are struggling not to mention being ridiculed, these things happened not only because of the hypocrisy of his leaders but also because of the propaganda on his country informed by the international mass media. almost always the propaganda, especially about the latest issue of terrorism in his country, is reported intentionally to mislead the world as if all of his people that kind of mentality.
A few of his colleagues are still striving to achieve an adequate standardrization as a pilot, to obtain recognition internationally. this is not going to be easy, in order to do that they have to get the latest information from other airline company about career level, salary and the condition of world of avition, mostly the information given by his airline company will be counterfeit and deceptive like slogans used in the United Soviet era, where many people suffered because of the violation of human right, that is exactly what is happening in his airline company, because there is not enough attention to his airline company from their government , as result many of his supervisors especially on the flight departement in his airline company are still in power, which allow them to even be more hypocrites and corrupt, the higher authority will never check on them the pilots who really work hard to keep the company running, to see whether those supervisors have suceeded or failed to do their job to bring the profit for the company and wellbeing for the employees.
As a pilot he flies an international flight routes, he often heard many people from the developed countries spread the slogan that they are fighting for human rights and that there will be no more racist or discrimination in the world, they said that we are equal human beings who have dignity and democracy is for every single human being in the world, this political propaganda spread in their country where the people are highly educated and they live in propesrity, as if this is their goodness towards the people from undeveloped or developing countries, which is struggle to improve their economic situation and education system.
However that is not what happening in the real world, ironically the international airline companies never give him and his colleagues the opportunity even for the lowest pilot position to prove that they have the capability to work professionally and that they are as good as other pilots from developed countries, such as european countries he has the experience with the international flights however his opportunity is still slim to be hired by those international airline companies, even in the countries which have better economics such as as South East Asia and tha Middle East the job vacancy for pilot position in their national airline companies are filled with the pilots from the developed countries, isn't this an indicator of greediness of people from those developed countries?
Readers can understand from the content of this topik what really going on in his country, what I would like the readers to realize that the frustrating and depressing conditions can make people grow to be terrorist unconsciously, they become frustrated and the hatred will grow in their heart toward the people from the developed countries at the same time the international ntions with power are even more oppressive, full of hoax to disintegrate the countries, which already in very apprehensive condition.
Consequently tht condition will create the new form of community, a community of terrorist, which in fact is created and supported by the people from so called anti-terrorist nation.
In my opinion, the international nations should give more opportunities to the people from the countries with difficult economic situation and education problems, so they can pursue a better education and get more experience in their field to receive a better compensation, moreover for a better life, they can experience the peaceful life with no more violence or oppression, hopefully, we will have the peaceful community we dream about:)
