Does anybody know if there are many (IF any) Belgian pilots working for FR?!
What are the possibilities of being based at CRL
when joining?

thanx,

Of course there are and highly likely depending on requirements I would presume.

Only makes sense doesn't it for an airline to recruit people who would want to work in their 'home town'.

i known of at least one.

There are several Belgian pilots based in CRL now. 2 ab-initio's who did the CAE program, some F/O's coming from Sabena and Captains from Citybird and Sabena. There are some more Belgians coming who flew for Air One in Italy. Until march, Ryanair also hired some contract pilots, some Belgians too. They don't have a fixed base; they fly from STN, CRL and HHN.
Ryanair tries to take into account your preferential base, but this is not possible for everybody of course.
