same pay, ... would you change to a 9 to 5 ground based job?

No way, I wouldn't even go back to 9 to 5 for more money!
The rare times that I have flown between these hours has been a nightmare!
:eek: Driving to the airport or anywhere in peak hour traffic is just one thing that I could never ever get used to again.
Shift work wins hands down with me!:D :D :D

Oh my god going 9-5 again...NO WAY driving in such traffic wrecks your day before you have even started work! I much prefer shiftwork it's always changing! :-) It gives you time to sample the best of everything! :-)

I will only change from one airline to another, the one I am presently with is turning out to be horrendous, so if anyone knows of any other British based airlines recruiting, please post the name of it here...
European, look on www.aviationjobsearch.com There seems to be quite a few airlines in UK recruiting now.
Sorry to hear things are not going well, I remember you being so enthusiastic about it :(
