Hi,

Anyone know much about the scene in Peru?

What licences? (FAA or JAA or ICAO)
How much activity is there?
Any gringos employed?
Perfect Spanish required?

Do they have a good supply of experienced locals or do typed and suitably experienced expats have a chance?

Thanks for your help guys.

Hi,
I have worked in Peru was in 1997 , as an helicopter pilot with a french licence I had to:
Take a written exam in english basically a FAA CPH and also a class 1 aptitude in an air force axamination center. all these exams were taken at Lima.
With that in hand, i got a Peruvian licence with only some of the type qualifications of my french licence.
I don't know what is the procedure nowadays and it might well be a little bit different, and there is little I can say about
I can also add that my spanish was very very basic !
Good luck
