Anyone out there ever flown in volcanic conditions on a long term basis?
Is there anything long or short term, that one should watch out for?
We avoid the obvious, but as its such an insiduous hazard, I would like to know if anyone has been in this situation, and if there's anything, long term especially, that we should look out for.

Blades are fine, engines washed every day, boroscopes look good..... but you have to wonder.....

I'd worry every time I went into the hot air about loss of performance from the engines. Also getting a blast of air without much oxygen wouldn't help keep the fire in back going either.
Do you have the swirl tube particle separators or the foam filter type?
What about blade erosion or corrosion in general? Do you have any long term issues with that?
