Hello all,
I was wondering what the requirements are to convert a U.S. ATP to an Australian on New Zealand ATPL. I hold type ratings in B-737's and CE-550's, do these transfer over also? Any help in this matter would be highly appreciated. Cheers.

131 757 is the number to call for CASA

They should be able to help you.

Unless it's changed recently, you just need to do the Australian ATP Air Law exam then walk in to CASA and ask em to issue one to you. Haven't heard of anyone doing it recently so forgive me if there are additional facets that I don't know of.

Hey Riggwelter,

I am looking into the same thing. I havent got the same answer twice. CASA doesnt seem to like replying via email and its kinda frustrating.

anyway, if you get a difinitive answer, let me know.
Any leads on work back home in OZ? its kinda slim pickings from what I can tell!:)
