Dear Pilot,
You legend for getting that aircraft down without the wheels and with a hellovalota wind going the wrong way. Well done!
Your radio chatter was cool, calm and collected and considering it was late at night, horrible winds and no wheels, well done.
Anyone else had things go wrong... on top of things going wrong?

While we are at BK whats the story on the Merlin that came to grief during endorsement training?

Dont know about the Merlin, but does anyone know any more on the warrior that taxi'd behind the Neptune doing high power engine checks in the bay last week.... Heard that it bent a wing after being lifted and slammed back to the ground....
Curious to know more...
Oh yeah... almost forgot the topic... the wheels up sounds like it was handled very well indeed.

was there on friday the wind there was a x-wind gusting 30kts.Very intresting landings.Anyone got details on the incident?

The merlin was flown by CFI of BK flying school. Forgot to flare.

Great to hear the Warrior got down safely.
Now what about this Merlin. - When, where, who or what. I havn't heard anything about this yet. Can anyone expand a little?
And what BK flying school has a Merlin? - I know of a charter co. that has one or two?

Was the gear up aircraft a Metro freighter or something completely different ?
Did the Merlin fly the next day after the heavy landing ?
Some info takes some dragging out doesn't it !

There is a Bankstown CFI who flys with an operator that has a variety of turbine and piston twins. Anybody know anything else?
