Hello!

Not sure if it's the wrong time of year but I was wondering if anyone knew of any Ops Controller positions available at the moment...South-East ideally..

Thanks;)

My company is looking for an Ops Controller for their Ops Centre, LGW based, perm contract.

Drop me an email if your interested, it's not your average Ops job, really interesting stuff, world-wide flight planning, gets you involved in everything...

Cheers

Sorry to throw water on the AFX bonfire but..

1) I thought AFX couldn't afford to repair their own B747...cost of approx £1.5m ???

2) AFX wanted to lease in a Korean B747 that the CAA won't allow as it isn't approved to JAR standards..

3) Hasn't the boss just smashed up the Ops department with a baseball bat...?? No...thats not a joke! Result of this is why most of the staff have just left....hence the recruitment above...

4) Presently no AOC.. chances of getting one....slim to never!!

Sorry but I'd hate you to con some decent Ops people to leave other jobs...

Both AFX A/C are serviceable (by the way GGAFX in Manston is no longer leased by AFX and hasn't been for some time)...

AOC has been re-instated for several weeks now...

No Ops staff have left.

The rest?, just rumours I'm afraid!!

Still, they are looking for Ops bods and nobody is conning anyone - if anyone's interested, why not get in touch and make up your own mind?!....

I was offered a job in Ops with AFX but I had to decline. Money wasn't enough to cover the M25 factor.......I could be persuaded otherwise though if the money was right !! Who is running Ops now?

If AFX are recruiting, does this mean that the ex Korean B747 will now take to the skies in the very near future ??

Jet Club must have upped the salary as it wasn't that much with the guy before!!
