I was trying to describe Flicker Vertigo, caused by the flicker of sun through the 'idling' prop, resulting in brain spasms(call it what you will!!)..I remember reading about this years ago, whilst first learning to fly,and that the phenomenon led to blackouts and the resulting accidents.Where can I find referalls to this issue??
Many Thanks..
Cheers.

The flicker of the prop can trigger migraines or epilepsy in those susceptible people (also aircraft strobes at night or vehicle rotating beacons). I'd never heard it referred to as Flicker Vertigo, but a search on Google for Flicker Vertigo provides a whole host of info (a couple of the more interesting ones attached below).
