According to the large advert in Pilot magazine, Kemble is about to become a CAA licensed 'drome- this would explain the apparent lack of PPL training despite the excellent facilities.

Does anyone know of any intentions to conduct modular CPL training there?

Furthermore, are there any intentions to conduct PPL training at Kemble? Seems wasted on microlights:D

Hope not ! Try Staverton - Glocestershire or whatever its called this week.............

Kemble has a major problem in respect of noise complaints and
indeed low-flying by ancient hunters - some way to go I believe
before activity will increase substantially.

Plenty of nimbys in local area !

Kemble is being used for PPL training. Aircraft transit to GLO or FZO before training commences. Licence due tomorrow.

www.aeroschoolkemble.co.uk CPL training may be on the menu in the near future.

Great news SB, thanks. I for one would be keen to train for CPL from Kemble.
