I have search for the relevant posts but would like to get an update on the situation at European Air Charter (EAAC/EAL). I am aware the the 1-11s were grounded months ago and that 747s have been added. I also understand that the owner might be selling, etc.

Questions for EAL pilots:

1. What is the current status - have flights been reduced?

2. How are the 747 and 737 programmes doing respectively - are they busy?

3. Is EAL starting to rehire furloughs? Have furloughees been picked up by easyJet or Ryanair?

4. How is pilot morale?

Best of luck to all EAL pilots out there - I hope the situation improves. I have always been a HUGE fan of your 1-11s... I would have loved to have flown one of those beauties...

Cheers

1 No, BaU
2 Just the usual lull changing into winter-mode, lots of work lined up for both fleets. allegedly.
3 I was laid off last Ocober and taken back in March. Those who weren't reinstated then, weren't reinstated for political reasons.
4 Morale? Sorry, could you explain that concept.
