A bit of general question, but do Avaition Insurance companies supply extra cover for overseas Aviation Workers?

I have insurance from my current place of work, but it has a few short falls, like many do. I was looking for specialist company that deal with Aviation especially overseas workers.

Any advice or comments appreciated.:)

Sorry to hijak the thread SG, but thought the same people might know.

I am heading overseas (holidays) soon, and would like to hire a 172 for a couple of hours as a look see. most travel insurances though exclude light aircraft flying except as passenger on authorised charter/RPT flying, and definitely not as the pilot!

Any suggestions...?

Weell thanks anyway for hyjacking my thread CS! I think alot Expat guys out there dont get insurance, they rely on the Company providing cover locally where ever they may be. My quetsion is, if persay someone " spuds in "to bring the body back to Oz, or to repatriate someone "desperately ill" back to a Good Medical Facilities and provide cover? Can someone give us an answer, or give us a webs to go to etc.?

Regards Sheep,

P.S. CS I think you would have to go through an Aircraft tour company depends where your going?

Sheepguts,
I believe Lloyds of London do some avaiton polices and include loss of licence and disability and loss of income etc but it will cost a bit. Also Zurich insurance and I think Royal sun may as well.
