Just wondering how many pilots out there are insured for loss of licence.

I'm just starting out and wondered if it was worthwhile looking into this, or is it something that not really available for the GA side of things.

Does anyone know who would provide this type of cover, and a rough estimate of the cost?

Capt.L, the only one I'm aware of (that's anywhere affordable) is that which the AFAP has for its members.
