Dear All,

Is there a way of transferring images in 'my pictures' on my hard disc onto a CD,or do I need special software to do this?

Any advice/comments gratefully appreciated.Thankyou.

It's quite straightforward - just set up your CD burner for DATA and drag and drop your files into the selection window.

CJ is correct (as usual :D ). A file is a file. Assuming your image files are "jpg", "tif", or similar, just copy them to your Writeable CD as they are in Folders of your own choice.

You can even "Open" them in any normal Photo editing Application straight from the CD but you will have to save any changed files to the hard disk unless you are using re-writeable disks.

If you don't have a CD burner (CD-RW drive) try a service like http://www.photobox.co.uk/ upload you images and they will burn a CD or supply prints.

If you have a CD burner most of them come with some software, usually Nero. Alternatively download the demo from : http://www.nero.com/
