Help!

Hello all :)
Uhmmmm .... need some help. Got a new puter and guess what!!! haven't been unable to chat since then!!! initially they told me it was because of windows XP, and I was advice to dowload Java, so I did .... but still unable to chat :(
I can see the whole thing (window) to chat, but it is empty ... neither I can write, neither I can see what goes on :(
Any advice?

This gets complicated ... no, no firewall and as chat ... I am talking about the one on pprune :cool:

hmmm, the only other option that comes to my mind is to check windows update. See if you have got the latest critical updates.

or

I suppose that you are using the Internet Explorer. If you have also Netscape installed on your system, run it and see if it works. Java and MS IE don't get along at times...
