Anybody have any experience of a DVD burner be it a -R or +R? Any recommendations for make or model? Software?
Would like to eventually put DV movies onto DVD for viewing on home DVD player (yes I know it needs to be compatible)
Any suggestions, thanks in advance. :)
Get a Sony DRU-500A.
DVD +R/+RW/-R/-RW - CD R/RW. Best of both worlds.
Just installed mine. Lubberly-Jubberly. :D

Whoops - might have been a tad hasty with my PM spanners - I was on the brink of getting the Sony 500 too but just seen this - ORAC you may be interested. Not sure if updated drives are on sale now but fix is available anyway. See these:

Still looks good though.
I don't have a problem since I'm using Memorex. I've updated it from their site though.
They have another upgrade patch coming out to increase burn speed to x4. :D
