Mini Gatbash in Cairns?

It's THAT time of the year again folks! Time to have our own mini version of the real Gatbash. All details are in the Bashes Forum (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=73302). Who knows, maybe we'll even see one of the Woomera Team there? :D

In any event, as we don't have our own Bashes forum here, I figure that PPRuNe management would prefer that we use the dedicated Bashes forum for all responses. So, roll up, roll up! I especially expect to see you there Chuck! ;)

This could be a BIG day/night, Cairns ATC/Tower bash is also on Fri 13th!

What a dilemma, start at ATC then go to Aero Club ? or vice versa?

Why don't we start it earlier (like 1530?) and then take leave of absence to head to the tower and then continue out on the town?

Good plan stallie, but what time will the Aero Club open its' bar? I'm all for that plan but don't know the Club's hours.

The Aero Clubs bar is open from 4:30pm Wed, Thur, & Fri. and will close when the last person leaves. Many a good night had at the NQAC bar :p

I (vaguely) remember the Cairns ATCO tower parties. Fantastic events they were. Well worth it and well done Cairns ATC for having a party. :D
