What more would the minister want,

1. An Aviation "Expert".

2. Previous experience as a succesful CEO.

3. Knowledge of regulations.

4. Known in all aviation and government circles, both here and in the US.

5. Knows how to "Work the Media"

6. Knows how to "Make Deals" with ministers.

The perfect choice!

Just heard on the news that Mr Anderson has sacked the entire CASA board, so maybe it is not a wind up. God help us all!

A senior, now retired, manager of ATS (Operations) when asked of Dick Smith quickly replied - "as an aviation administrator he makes one hell of a helicopter pilot". Smith and Anderson presiding over the Australian aviation industry, it will make the Ansett fiasco look like a slight bump in thew road!

On the ABC radio news this evening it said the current Director of Safety would be CEO. Mick Toller gets yet another title!

Mick Toller is the "problem not the solution", God help us.

Civil disobedience is the answer.
