Can anyone who has done the JAA ground exams tell me if they are as bad as it seems they are going to be from studying the notes? Particularly the Nav.?

Naw, no probs mate - just get stuck in with a "kickass" attitude and you'll hammer them!.
Nav's no problem if you can do simple sums but you do need to be FAST as it's 2 hours and you really need about 2 1/4 for comfort!!!

Nav is fairly easy - only problem is time. I'd prefer 2 1/2 hours. It's all about exam technique [assuming you've done the work & learned your stuff obviuosly].
I failed Decembers General Nav paper [68%] got to Q57 of 70 with 5mins to go. My exam technique apparently sucked. Must work faster.
