Hey All,

Heading up to Darwin next week and am looking to hire an aircraft for a day. Just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere to go? Have checked the net and have only found Darwin Aero Club.

Anyone have anymore info??

Cheers

Give Pasapaley a call you might be able to private hire the new Falcon with candy pink wings...

The Darwin Aeroclub closed its doors in March this year, and they were re-opened by Darwin Flight Standards in May (after having been lost at numerous places around the airfield over the preceding months)

DFS has 2 C172's and a C210

I didn't know DFS had a 210 for hire. Anyone know what the going rates are?

Stunty,
You will need to continue earning what you currently do to justify hiring FS C210.:D . Let me know if and when you are ever down my way.

Found out some prices for DFS acft hire

C172 - $170.50 per tacho hour

C210 - $302.00 per tacho hour

The 210 didn't seem too bad considering the going prices down here in PF lately. For a 206 it was $325 an hour last time I checked.

Try VH EFB same model as Deep Sea Vessel and probably a bit cheaper, doesn't look as good but she goes...

Hey HA, who owns EFB??

I'm presuming I need a checkflight to fly any of the aircraft I hire from up there in Darwin? All I wanna do is head over to Jabiru for a day and see someone who works for Kakadu Air that I know.

Cheers,
