Maybe they'll pay ŁK90 for a career pilot, as I can see it at the moment, most people are fairly content without having to have the hassle of moving companies.

BOND MAY RETURN TO THE NORTH SEA

09:00 - 14 November 2002

The prospect of a third helicopter company operating in the North Sea took a step closer yesterday.

Bond Offshore Helicopters, which set up an office in Aberdeen more than a year ago to look into re-starting North Sea operations, has admitted it is looking to acquire an unspecified number of Super Puma helicopters.

The company's parent, Bond, left the North Sea after its operations were taken over by Canadian CHC to form CHC Scotia, the biggest operator in the market along with Bristow. A spokesman for Bond Offshore Helicopters said yesterday: "We have been in discussions with a number of major oil and gas companies, including BP, over the past year on their future requirements for North Sea helicopter operations from Aberdeen.

"We are also in detailed discussions with Eurocopter regarding deliver of a number of new AS 332L Mark 2 Super Puma helicopters."
