Basic stuff I know but taking after my name can someone please remind me of the quick formulas for calculating ETPs and PNR including off-track.
Thanks
here we go
CP or ETP= Total distance x GS home
--------------------------------
GS home+GS on
PNR = Safe endurance x GS home
----------------------------------
2 x Tas
There you go I needed that refresher.
How do I put a little smillie face here?
Tried to set it out better but it will not let me!!

I don't think there's a quick formula for an off-track ETP, I always just used a pair of dividers on the enroute chart or map to find an on-track equi-distance point between the destination and your off-track diversion, then fudged it a little bit one way or the other depending on the wind - close enough, I reckon, otherwise you disappear up your own bum figuring it out to the last nm and crash because you were looking inside too much!
