Hey, go to www.met-office.gov.uk (http://www.met-office.gov.uk) for the metars, tafs and synoptic charts your flying club will get!

PPRuNe has its own Weather page. Just click where it says Weather and you should get a decent guide.

I was recently directed in the way of http://www.weatherjack.com/ , which is mostly aimed at glider pilots. But there are a huge array of links there, and it will certainly be possible to get the info you are looking for.

For general WX info, try http://redkite.net/weatheraction/5DayShow.tmpl . It's Piers Corbyn's 5 day weather view, and although the info is not very detailed, it is normally very accurate. Don't mention to the Met Office that you think he produces good forecasts... his techniques are somewhat shunned!

These are a few extras

http://www.lfv.se/site/pilot_info/briefing/index.asp

It is the Swedish CAA's site and it has all the Metars and Tafs for the whole of Europe

Also for Notams worldwide, unofficial but usually accurate. Check this US Government site:

https://www.notams.jcs.mil/

This one gives you worldwide Metar and Taf information. once loaded, then click on 'METAR/TAF Data' in order to use the facility.

http://www.nws.noaa.gov/oso/oso1/oso12/metar.htm

This link also brings you the latest satellite image of Europe. It is Notingham Universities site.

Hope that helps!!!
