Does anyone know anything about KLM Excel's new operation in Bonaire?

On the KLM Exel website http://www.klm-exel.nl/ you will see that on October 3th plans were already underway for a startup called BonairExel... A partnership is supposedly forged with Dutch Carribean Express, to start flying between the islands starting December 1st.

No further news at this point. :)

Latest news is BonairExel will not have their operator certificate issued in time to meet KLM's schedule change for Latin/South America( they need a feeder airline for that area and it was to be in the form of Bonaire Exel) Sooo KLM is not going thru with some of the changes to the schedule.
B.T.W. It was not a partnership with DCE(Dutch Carribbean Express) They (DCE)are actually agianst the idea because they are 'at war' with KLM over the mid atlantic routes to the Netherlands Antilles(Lots of local politics defining the outcome)

Could Air Atlanta be pitching for a contract from the Dutch Antilies to AMS using 767s?

Just spoke to a mate who said, that DCE wants to lease ( not sure wet or dry )at least two 767's sometime next year, I think their contract is coming to an end with Sobelair and DCE would like to have their own crew o/b but Sobelair not happy with that, so they could very well be talking to Air Atlanta.
BTW the holding company for Exel in Bonaire is called Dutch Eagle Express, poss. reas.for the mxup.
