Thales sim jobs [Archive]

I see that Thales were advertising in Flight for Simulator Instructors for the RAF fast jet and Nimrod sims.

Does anyone have an idea what the pay is like? The ad says "competetive" but does that mean competetive with the cr@p Civil Service salaries or competetive with the likes of ATIL on the Apache?

Any info greatly appreciated - I've had enough of my present employer!

Spoke to one of the sim managers at Lossie about a year ago (in the pub!) and asked the same question. The answer was low 30Ks, dependent on your exact job. Not bad for a p£ss easy job.

Many thanks - that makes it competetive with real world not Civil Service!!!!!! For your info, ATIL pay much the same on Apache.
