Just curious what kind of cool posters and pictures you people have?

I have a 1950's painting of a drunken monkey drinking vodka, a panoramic of workmen on top of a New York skyscraper, and a large poster of the "Animal House" movie. Also just got my hands on a really nice framed picture of an old B-17's nose art.

Freind of mine had a large movie poster of the "Crying Game" in his living room, despite never having seen the movie.
It vanished after he finally got around to seeing it.:D

A Blade Runner poster.
And 12 perfect target cards from air rifle (all 10.9s on single bull targets for those that know what I'm yammering about)
And a half-dozen or so 25 yard and 50m targets too. And my first ever paycheck, blown up to A4 in a photocopier :D
And an event calendar for target shooting events.

I've got a fantastic picture of Anthony Smith (ex-LA Raiders #94) in mid-air, horizontal. The only part of him that is touching anything is his left hand, which has hold of Dave Kriegs (then Kansas Citys QB #17) facemask, with Krieg bent double, his face contorted with pain facing the sky. You can see the entire circumference of the LA Coliseum and floodlights, reflected in the top of Anthony Smiths helmet. Said picture is autographed by Anthony Smith.

The best bit? I took the picture....:D

The worst bit? Anthony Smith dislocated his finger during the play, let go of the facemask, Krieg straightened up and threw a touchdown. The Raiders lost by 3 points...:(

Huge, complex Lord of the Rings thing bought 16 years ago. Adds a gothic feel to the lounge.

Come to think of it, so do I. :(

hey captainowie,
I don't suppose you have a copy of the one where the one pilot is saying to the other "Hey, what's that mountain goat doing up in this cloud?" and there is a suitably contented goat filling up most of the windscreen.
I have desperately been trying to find a copy to use as and illustration for a course I'm developing, and mine must have been chucked in one move or another.
If you (or anybody else) have a copy that could be scanned and e-mailed to me I would be forever grateful!

A still from the movie "The High and the Mighty;" John Wayne in his white airline uniform and wheel cap, walking down the aisle with the look of an old pro dealing with a severe in-flight emergency.

Funnily enough a rather large framed still from Warner Bros. of Duck Dogers in the 24th and a half Century! Plus a smaller Marvin the Martian one.

Before my house got burnt down I had a framed painting of a horney Swede who I had a thing with once, on her knees giving me a BJ. Used to hang in the kitchen above the table. Luckily I got the pic saved on Fototime but a puter printout just doesnt have the same oomph as a painting does.

Just how long did the pair of you have to sit/kneel/stand for that painting Slash?! (presumably you insisted the artist wore a blindfold?).

I have a VB stubby in a glass case with, "In case of emergency etc."

B.E. it was a painting done referring to a pic I took using my home-porn kit (digi-cam and mirror). Artist who painted it was a Thai from PPong and cost me US150$.

He was pretty good. His painting captured the moment!

Did you have the painter indulge in some artistic licence around the nether regions Mr Slash?? ;)

No Mr Drapes he didnt. But a painting gives you a "being there doin it again!" feeling that you just cant get from an inkjet pic!
