Financial help for older wannabes

I know that there are airline sponsorships for those up to age 27ish, Gapan sponsorships, and help if you're going into the millitary, BUT, is there anything out there for the older person, (late 30s), who is desperately trying to get PPL, but finding it very difficult financially?

i understand that there is a partner programme (semi sponsored scheme) that i am too old for being 38 , however its name escapes me so try again under something like partner programme option
