I was told a Beaver Floatplane tore a wing off when it hit a yacht recently.
Anyone have any details?:

Happened at Hamilton Island,hit a yacht on landing bent the wing.

Channel 7 news had amateur footage of the landing. The actual impact was missed but the resulted severed port wing looked pretty major. :eek:
Actually not sure if severed our torn off at root. Either way its major.
