Dear fellow aviator,

Thank you for putting super glue in the lock on my Triumphs fuel tank. I really do appreciate you saving me money by not allowing me to fuel.

Why do I post here? Because the bike lives in my hanger next to the crew lockers... Disgruntled ex employee maybe??? Bad practicle joke maybe???

Whoever or whatever just wanted to publically announce how pathetic I think you are.

HA:mad:

HA, think of it this way mate. You can always remove the clue from your machines fuel cap, but the low-life who did this will get his/hers. What goes around, comes around.

All the best, and don't let it get to you..................H.

I remember back a few years ago where somebody poured brake fluid allover one individual's near-new Brock Commodore. The same individual (assumedly) filled all the locks of another individuals late model Ford Laser with Superglue.

The first I heard of it was when the Eastwood Detectives phoned me at home and asked me if I had any idea of who may have done it. I could hardly restrain the laughter when I heard that one :D:D.....My reply was "About 50 individuals".

The "victims" were the directors of a large flying school that ripped off their customers, some to the tune in excess of $30000.

I give the perpetrator 10/10 for originality in this case.

High Alt, sorry to hear it happened to you. Perhaps an irate customer?

A bloodey low act HA! I know that there's a few folks on here with whom you're not especially popular, but they all seem too "up front" for such a cowardly deed. Whoever did this is certainly not your friend, but is also quite juvenile in his/her thinking.

This sort of low act just disgusts me!

Hugely suckworthy to do that to a Triumph. Bide your time ... someone will know who did it.

Why is it that seemingly professional people behave like such c0cks?

HA, for what it's worth, I don't think that status, age or apparent social normality will ever have an effect on such an oxygen deprived sack of lard. They are forever destined to a life of mediocrity.

What goes around comes around?? I think this snapperhead has already been blessed with a brain the size of a peanut. Take solace in the fact they are braindead baboons who will end up married to an alcoholic fat chick with 12 ugly kids in a lower class Western suburb dump!

Such cowards make me really mad.

Have to agree with you 18-wheeler. The imbecile that perpetrated this most frustrating of crimes (and lets not forget, what has happened here IS a crime) will not be able to hold their tongue and sooner or later brag to somebody and tell of their juvenile actions. Bide your time HA, the story will come out soon. Always does. And when it does sack the @rsehole. Then stick near the phone for future employers of this dropkick checking his employment history. THEN you'll have the last laugh....... Or better still. Don't hunt him. Let him know that you know it was he that did it to the trumpy. Watch the champion squirm then.

careful please W

Hugh - "High Alt, sorry to hear it happened to you. Perhaps an irate customer?"

we wouldn't know what an irate customer was, with the service offered every client walks away happy indeed... (I couldn't resist).

You will all be pleased to know that my baby is in the workshop awaiting a new lock... ahhh yep what goes around comes around... As for not being able to keep the trap shut I must agree it will come out in time...

Just a bit more satisfaction for the pr*ck who did this.

My lock is still screwed, cannot disolve it, cannot remove the whole cap mechanism if the lock is locked. Do not really want to drill it out... so you have achieved maximum impact, well done pea brain... Am I pissed? Little bit but not that bad as its a bit hot on the bike anyways at the moment...

I have a fairly good feeling who you are now and the other stunt you have pulled is comin to my eyes.....

As has been said, what goes around comes around.....

p.s. May I suggest a trip to Washington, I strongly advise you hang out in servo car parks... At least that way your time will come sooner.

H.A. If there's no plastic in close proximity try working some Acetone into the lock. It'll dissolve just about anything (including plastic).

Just don't do it in a closed area, or you'll take a "trip" straight back to the 60's.......

Revenge is a long time coming but sweet.

For all yoy Ppruners out there HA is an egotisicle twit who uSes and abuses, overworks and underpays his sTaff because he knows how hard it is for thEm to find work elsewhere.

Any guesses who I am? You are probably so far oFf the mArk it not fuNny.
I'll give you a hint.

" I've alWays wanted to sleep with a female pilOt."

That' s right I'm that pilOt who was trying to look for my first GA job and you took aDvantage of me when I was drunk and just as quickly discarded me when your staff disagreed with your actions.

Thanks to you I have recently left aviation my life goal and am now pursueing aNother career. All becAuse of people like you.

I feel sorry for people like you who go around trying to find aCceptance in people but never will. just as you were looking for the sympathy vote here. No one really like you at Darwin airport. Not even your staff. They just pretend cause you are paying them to like you. How SAD

You are probably wondering, how did she do that, she left ages ago. It's called magic.

We'll I've said my peace and for all the people not living in Darwin, this is the true HA. Beware other pilots looking for jobs in Darwin. There are parasites up there.

This time you are the statue and have just been shat on.

Now I should be careful and not respond to this however what the puk...

As we all know there are 2 sides to every story I am not going to go into anything as you will believe what you want to believe.

I will not disagree to the fact that ALOT of people dislike me... Well frankly I don't giva...

I have started the careers of many a pilot and feel very proud to that fact, I am also proud of the fact that we still employ 200 hour pilots, how many other operators do??? Yes they work hard, they work damn hard and the get the rewards from working hard. As I said no point going into detail as those who know the truth well, know it. NAC has had a meteoric rise, no it has not always been good, and yes I do think the fleet is looking very good at the moment. Don't try and dig me about my modes of transport I drive a Ford and bought myself a toy in the bike which has been pucked with. Now quiet simply I have worked bl**dy hard to get where I am and if you don't like it, join the band wagon and hang sh*t on me, water of a ducks back to me, I don't give anything that I cannot take. As for ex employees well the ones that were pointed in the direction either got the system at the wrong time or simply did not want to be here, again there are many stories behind eveything but ya may as well believe whats here as it is factual isn't it?

Well gotta go, just thought I'd pop in and havea look, not really surprised but I will say those who can sort through the preverbial will end up believing what they want to...

Must go and relax now, 2 days at Seven Spirit Bay fishing have really taken it outa me...

Back to the original post anyways, to destroy ones property is a criminal matter, it is in very bad taste and well its already been said.

HA, stop for a second and have a think why you cause people so much angst. I'll quote from a psychology book. Hypercompetitiveness is an indiscriminate need to compete and win and to avoid losing at any cost as a means of maintaining or enhancing one's feeling of self-worth. It also includes feeling and thoughts of manipulation, aggressiveness, exploitation, and derogation of others across a myriad of situations. End quote. You need to sit down for a while and have a think about it.

High Altitude
25th Oct 2002, 00:36
Crikeys now I'm being psycho analised...

Not a bad quote though, would certainly sum me up to a degree...
however I would call it more passion than anything. Do you know how much satisfaction there is in employing a 200 hour pilot, watching a career grow through the company and then onto greener pastures? It is very satisfying. It is also frustrating to watch those who don't make it, those that stagnate in their career no matter what you do to try and help, how frustrating do you think it is when you want to give a low hour pilot a job and frankly they would be lucky to know which end of a plane the prop goes on? and then they get in a plane and you wonder who taught this pilot???. I look forward to the lads making the venture Nth for the 7th... Oh no thats right they don't like me they are only coming for the party...

GA is a VERY competitive field Darwin being no exception. There were those whom scorned me when I started, however its right in their face. I certainly don't agree with the full quote and I am certainly not trying to validate what I do, just trying to make the point that I love what I do with a passion.

Doesn't it feel great to love your job, to enjoy what you do!

For the obvious very few who do not dislike me NAC turns 7 in November, the usual party to follow, if you would like to drop in for a beer or two drop me an email...

NOW again back to the topic, I have to get a whole new cap system for the Trumpy... @$350... anyone know where to get any cheap after market or 2nd hand Trumpy parts (TT600)?

Now on another problem if you wish to keep giving me free physco sessions... I am afraid of the dark...

Hold on a hi falutin minute.

Scenario = girl with newly issued CPL turns up in Darwin desperate for a job, goes and gets on the pi55 with some bloke knowing full well he's a potential employer, shags him, and then goes all septic because it doesnt turn into a farkin beautiful romance? Pray tell me, exactly what the hell did you think was going to happen love?

Gimme a break. I'm sure you only met the bloke purely by coincidence, that you had no idea who he was and that the thought of advancing your career prospects never crossed your mind at the time?

Chances are of course that none of this never happened and it's some made-up load of bullsh*t from a competitor, but if I was in that position and I was in the bar minding me own business and some wet-behind-the-ears CPL chick came and started chatting me up, I'd shag her just on principle before I told her to **** off. Anyone who tries to root their way into a job deserves exactly what they get.

as for the glued trumpie locks, well even if I did consider my boss to be a complete s.o.b. (and god knows I've worked for a couple of them in my time), the sort of mentality of someone that would go round vandalising people's private belongings, its a sign of a immature and bitter mind.

You could try this link:Triumph Motorcycle Links (http://www.dropbears.com/bikelinks/triumph.htm)

TT600. Nice choice of machine. Almost bought one.

Try the acetone in the keyhole H.A. It might need a few goes, but if you're careful it should work.

Check with Triumph to see if a lock barrel is available as a seperate part. You could drill it out and save the rest of the cap.

You're lucky they didn't put Armorall on your tyres. I saw the results of that a couple of times when I worked in a Suzuki dealership way back when

I normally try to keep to positive posts, but this time what the hell...

NOW again back to the topic, I have to get a whole new cap system for the Trumpy... @$350... "

Maybe in future you should stick to poking hookers, perhaps it'd be cheaper in the long run.

But then again, needing their services as often as you would, maybe not... :o

HA

I have just seen this one, after a long trip away.

Even though I don't like your methods, I can't accept vandalisim or damge to persoanl effects in any way. You have been subject to some very poor actions by this person or persons.

As for the other story, well allow this to be a warning for all. Especialy the new drivers, male or female, who are looking for work. Don't prostitute yourself to anybody for work, all that you do is open yourself up for abuse further down the line.

HA it was a low act to damage your bike, but at least think about the motivation of the person/s involved.

Treat them as you would have them treat you.

Personally I don't see the need to slag you off anymore, as you are your own worst enemy, and you advertise that fact.

So endeth the lesson.

H A,
I wouldnt wonder people could abuse your property and get away with it. as much as I disagree with the afore said actions, I can understand how easy it would have been.
Today after wandering around the airport, looking at all the facinating wrecks and stuff,. I wandered over to your hanger for a yarn and a look around............I found the doors wide open, an airplane sitting with the cowls open, the hanger door open and nobody in attendance at all. I did shout and generally make a heap of noise but nothing happened so I left.( was sorely tempted to raid ya cute lil drink fridge in the corner but I restrained me self...couldnt see any bourbons in there :D ).
Is DN that safe a place or were you sleeping off a hang over in the back of a plane somewhere or something?.
by the way I do like ya paint schemes,. thems sure is perty.

I've just caught up with this thread again. Can't believe what is being said. I honestly don't care how bad HA might be, as an employer, the day that we can rationalise a CRIME in the way its being done here is a very sad day indeed.

I thought this crime was committed by some petty-minded individual who is incapable of rising above a cowardly attack. But I'm not sure that I haven't seen similar things in this thread. It seems like there are a few people who have condoned this crime and I have to wonder if they'd do the same if the offence had involved their own personal property.

Now, if I've been interpreting this thread correctly, who is "Emily"? :D

HA - knowing you and your company, you know who did this so don't expect to find too much sympathy here. Yes it is still a crime but your organisation has broken laws itself to your commercial advantage (to make up for endemic ineptitude). You don't start the careers of 200 hour commercial pilots - they do, with their time, money and effort. They then make profit for you by using their training to fly poorly maintained aircraft for a wage in the bottom quartile of the curve. Only in GA does your low-rent owner operator mentality flourish.

The wheel is still turning!

For the record as Pprune land can be very vicous...

If we are so shonky why then (THESE ARE FACTUAL):-

Have we sailed through the recent heavy CASA ramp check rein, yes in DN, Arnhemland and Broome with nil problems?

Why did we pass a CASA audit several weeks ago?

Why are we the only piston company in Darwin approved by a certain geo technical company?

See the difference here is, that this is pure fact. We have proved to CASA that ex employees running to a district office doesn't cut the mustard. Bit like the HE AN scandal that seems to have died in the water.

I will be the first to admit that in the begining it was a very large learning curve, however it is just like a 200 hr pilot you learn over time. True in the begining things probably weren't done the best. But as I say all along I am very proud of NAC and our standing in the community. Remember bitter and twisted souls/ disgruntled ex employees never really explain the situation the best. Remember their is ALWAYS a reason that something happens...

Oh and I hate to rain on your parade but a 200 hr pilot hasn't done it, its like a "P" plater in a car, you have just been given a liscense to kill yourself... You need to be nurtured and trained to excel at what you do... How many other smucks give these guys a go???

HA

YIPEE got the bike back yesterday, you forget how much fun it is. You know it was 2 part araldite and not super glue in the lock hence not being able to disolve it..... My that Daytona is a good looken bike...
