I possibly have an opportunity in the Bahamas, but I hear that the whole work permit thing is a very difficult situation. Does anyone know anything about being a us pilot in the Bahamas, working for a Bahamiam company?

thanks

The reason I ask is because the ease/difficulty of getting a work permit depends on the equipment. For example, I don't know any Bahamian multi-engine sea pilots with 1000 hours float time, therefore it would be easy to get a permit for a position requiring those qualifications...

We are going to be dropping skydivers on Grand Bahama. It's a new operation, and we are waiting for approval paperwork from the govt. Hopefully, first part of next week.

Should not be a problem cause no one else does it. Just remember things take a little longer down here! In Freeport however things happen quicker than most places! Drop me a line if you need any help...
