Austrian Airlines (http://derstandard.at/standard.asp?id=1103064) has declared promising numbers for the first three quarters of last year. I can't be bothered to translate the whole article, but the key points are:
1. Pax numbers for the first 3 quarters of 2002 are up 1.6% on the first 3 quarters of 2001.
2. Average load factor (Auslastung) was up by 1.7% to 74% for the same period.
3. The AUA Group (i.e OS, LX, Tyrolean, Rheintalflug) transported 3.3% more pax in the 3rd quarter of 2002 than in the same period of 2001 (i.e. June to September). Total was 2,755 million, or a record quarterly result.
4. Total pax for September were up by 6.9% on a load factor of 78.5%
