How often do BA do this sponsorship?

Im afraid Im only starting to get the low down on the whole BA sponsorship, whats its like,can an Irishman like myself apply, etc and I hope to apply this Aug (when the Leaving cert results are out). Unfortunately that may be too late so I was wondering if someone can tell me how things have been running over the last few years, when did the sponsorsip begin this year, when did it begin last year, how long did it go on for last year, do they usually run it every year, etc?

No, I rang them up but they won't give it to me until they know what I get in the Leaving.
