Yes I do need more cash

My views ?
Putting aside the minor issue of performance
you are no doubt aware that you need to upgrade to UK CPL and the IR in place before June 2002 ? - to maintain the frozen ATPL
credits for any subsequent JAA ATPL issue?

Geting back to the point the CAA will allow
you to sit JAA Perf after June 2001 and
most experts agree that its EASIER than
Perf A so no worries on this score and no
time limit on its validity either.

Need More,

RVR is right. Upgrade your BCPL to a JAA CPL(R) of get a full UK CPL issued before your caa ground exams run out or none of your ground exams will count. You will have to sit all 14 of the JAA ATPLs (if you want a job that is). See AIC White 19 for the detials. The best way to convert your licence is to do a twin rating. The conversion is 5 hours complex training followed by a proficiency check.

You also need to get an IR to make the ATPLs stick after june 2002.

The good thing about this system is your exams will never run out like the CAA ones do if you don't get the right number of hours in 5 years.
