I was wondering if Steven Holdings maths course is acceptable for the airlines if I did the wrong "type" of maths in School.

Thanks

Hi there pistol,

I did the Maths and Physics last year.
It is a good course although very tough... well I thought so anyway.
Apparently Dr Holding is recommended by Qantas to those who inquire.
I don't know if other airlines recognise his course though!

pistol pete..

As far as I know Steves course is still accepted for Direct entry, however the maths component isnt accepted for cadetship anymore. So I have been led to believe.

I have done both subjects with him. They are pretty damn hard if its been a while since you've done that type of stuff. Also quite expensive but beats spending 12 months at TAFE. Also remember that you will have to go to Brisbane for it. And study hard because if you fail twice he will hit you up for half of the original cost to resit the course. Learnt that the hard way.

If you want his details email me [email protected].

I did physics with Steve in '96 and thoroughly enjoyed it with excellent results.

What pity my $%^&* high school physics teacher wasn't a fraction of the teacher Steve is.

If circumstances allowed I'd do the course again just for the pleasure. Not taking the p***, I really did enjoy it!
