Can anyone help me with getting a 1900 type rating. I was going to do it in the states but they wont let anyone do type ratings there due to security. I have a nz and uk licence and am able to get yet another one to get the job. Any info would be great.

Whilst I may not be able to help you specifically, I may be able to put you in the right direction.

Our website has an aircraft type search and if you look up Aircraft Types - Aeroplanes - Turboprop then click on Beech http://www.ozflight.com.au you will be able to see all of the aircraft currently in Australia.

The B190 is the Beech 1900C and the BE02 is the Beech 1900D. Whichever you look at it will provide you will the names of the companies that operate the aircraft. You can then contact these companies directly to see if they offer any endorsement training.

EngineOut,

flipside is correct. Pacific Aviation operate under contract for fairfax newspapers doing paper runs. Former Impusle Airlines founder Gerry Magowan is a part owner of the company.

The operate a Beech 1900C (VH-AFR) and a Cessna Caravan (VH-SMH) out of Bankstown Airport.
