Have a few friends down south who participated in the recent selection process at EAA.The result was that NOT ONE of them was successful,and APPARANTLY due to the current industrial situation down there the entire interview group was knocked back. Any truth in this? Jarse might like to comment?

I can honestly say that I don't know whether a decision has been made on that group of applicants. I'm merely a member of the team, not the decision-maker.
Here's something to consider: The workload in the office at the moment is extremely high, with several projects under way. As a result, it can take a little while for those letters to be sent out to candidates. Patience is the key. The absence of a letter is not necessarily an indicator of lack of success.
It would be inappropriate of me to make any more specific comment on this forum.
